Nolan A. Fitzgerald
Associate Director
Nolan Fitzgerald graduated from Grand Canyon University in 2016 and decided to follow his lifelong interest of helping others learn. Soon after graduation, he started a summer tutoring job which led to a full-fledged career in specialized reading and comprehension instruction. This opportunity lasted almost 8 years, allowing him to develop a deep familiarity with sensory-cognitive instruction, a fun-loving teaching style, and instructional leadership skills. Nolan has seen thousands of students learn to read and comprehend, and is thankful for every opportunity to share some part in a student’s success.
Nolan was honored to begin as Associate Director of Van Roekel Learning Center in Fall 2023, and is now providing instructional oversight for student progress tracking, mentorship, training, and support for the team. He loves getting to visit the staff during student sessions and building relationships with the students, families, and schools we serve across the valley.
At home, Nolan is blessed to be a husband and father to one child. He also enjoys creative writing, disc golfing, exploring the outdoors, and gaming with friends and family.
